My 2010 totaled a drunk driver's 2002 Mercedes E320 back in October 2015, and right now is very quickly closing the gap on 145K miles!

Corsa has the 6ers as they are super standard and also (I’m hoping) may work for a fog w parking lights stubby harness. The 4’s are a little slimmer I guess but harder to source and would cost more.

The nice thing about the 6 is you can use the rear speaker pinout as your standard which ensures you never have to remember where anything goes.

for wire, buying white, white w black stripe, grey and grey w black stripe for a short section gets annoying. Because 4R can do short but only does striped in GXL, not in TXL while prowire I think has a 100 fit minimum though they have good prices. So you could just use whatever color you want if you hold to a pinout standard.

These are the 4’s I have. I believe they are sumitomo from hi-1000

Oooh that would work perfect. All I’m going to do is run the right and left channels into it. Color coded like factory. Wrap the connector in foam and lay it under the center console. Then when I add the amp I can remove the jumper harness and directly wire the amp to this plug.

I used to be in the habit of cleaning the engine bay before leaving vehicles for under the hood work. Figured if the mechanic saw the owner cared & got under the hood the mechanic might be a little more detailed in their work. After a series of poor work paid for, I kinda lost the habit.
Got the car back from the dealer service center yesterday, every time I close the door I now hear a piece of tin metal rattle. It's less annoying than the Christmas Tree I was getting on the dashboard, but it will be hunted down when the earth thaws out some.

28 pin connector housing came in. Harness mostly is done. Just need to get an 8 pin female and male connector set next and it’ll be ready for install in the truck.
Parking brake, speed, reverse, ignition, steering controls, microphone (on a pigtail to connect easier in truck) all in the connector. No need for AUX since the 2020 radio doesn’t support it.

No splices. All 1 wire runs. MUCH cleaner.

My DIY radio harness for the truck is done. Yay me. Built in T for the aftermarket amp with high level inputs too. Stock harness on the right. Mine left.

Thanks @daveeasa for the connectors on the T

Gs430 timing covers going on the truck. Just got back from powder coat. Came out good (you can see the imperfections in the aluminum though, oh well)
I had an aluminum fill neck powder coated too. Slowly remove the plastics under the hood. Install coming soon

So since giving up on the repaint of the interior (thanks to my use of this truck taking a lot of it off already) I’ve found most of a dark grey interior Dash, kick panels, and center console plus a broke door panel (but a good insert to reupholster). The driver side lower dash piece is gouged a bit but totally useable. All in all for the price it’s solid stuff. He didn’t charge for thedoor panel. So that’s nice
The steering column trim is scratched up on the bottom side. But that should be fine. Now all Ineed are to get the rest of thehood door panels and some seats. The rest painted black will matchwell enough for now till reg cabparts pop up

Installed the dash and console today. even tossed together a good door panel out of two bad panels for the passenger side. Added dynamat like stuff to the dash like the old one too. makes a big difference in how solid the dash feels and sounds. truck looks much better with a more consistent interior color.. still more to be done. but now its at least starting to look proper.
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
Also found the forever home for the redarc trailer brake controller dial (the module is up in the dash behind the instrument cluster, worked well for over a year now so i'll leave that there)
Just need to get a USB added between the two 12v ports for the radio and find the missing upper panel to this storage area and i'll be happy as can be with this proper center console (the old one was from a DC and was never "secure")

I too want to rid myself of the cloth on the door panels. I was thinking of a color matched vinyl and some upholstery shop. Seems like a straightforward request.

Why is this picture upside down?

I'm surprised you even bothered installing the floor vents to the back since this is a single cab. On my 4Runner, since I had to delete the vents for the rear when I swapped in the FJC transfer case, I just gorilla taped and zip tied the under dash vent closed.

It'll be awesome once you find the correct seats for it.
