The trd bedside decals would be the black and red ones. I think it would accent nicely with the trd look going on... I’d love to have trd 4runner Sema l wheels on this thing. The red valve covers have started this mess of trd shit.

[IMG] Well the trucks back home. Looks really good. Bottom of driver door they couldn’t get back into 100% fit without a lot of work. So I’m living with that.
And the bed has some waves, but that was to be expected because that’s how they came from the factory.

All in all I’m super happy with the work

[IMG] Cut the hole in the headliner for the overhead. Cuts ugly under there but it’s hidden. Need to cut the holes for the secondary sun visors next. But those will be precision or I’ll be staring at ugliness all the time I have them down. Another day..
Then it’ll be going to get wrapped in fresh not gross smoker fabric

Little update. Been focusing on other things as of late.

Got the secondary visors in. Poked 3 holes with bolts ground to a point for 2 then use the clip on the visor to mark where the 3rd went.
Headliners ready to go out for getting reupholstered
    [IMG]
Just gotta order new main visors and dynamat the roof then line with the foam I’ve got... should kill ALOT of wind noise.

    Said hole for visors [IMG]

Got factory harness adapters for going to a 2019 Toyota radio. Just waiting on the radio, tested everything on my 2015 camry radio I had laying around. Toyota mic works well on the gauge cluster, wheel controls function perfectly, Bluetooth plays music fine, HD radio works.. just need to adapt a rear camera and get the speed signal into the radio and reverse signal do everything works 100%.. also found out I can add blind spot cameras pretty easily if so desired. (No real point being I have no blind spots, but might be able to wire up front camera or the such)

[IMG] 2019 Toyota 86 radio 80% working on the tundra with factory plug and play harnesses and a Toyota microphone. Total price? 200.

Just waiting on the backup camera wiring and I have to wire up the reverse signal, parking brake signal and speed signal (can hijack the gauge cluster signal wires)

    Yeah.
Very cool! Where'd you find a 2019 radio so cheap? Pullout at work, or just watching eBay? The aftermarket radio in the '06 4Runner our daughter drives is acting flaky, may need to replace it soon. I assume those same harness PN's would work if I found a good stock replacement.

They’re cheap on ebay. I managed to get this one from a buddy that worked for lkq. Employee discount.

[IMG]Did some sound deadening the inner door skin on the driver door. Went heavy because my buddy got me a small crate of some OEM dynamat. Outer door skin I’m going to try and make removable panels held in with bolts and riv nuts. Also, still need to find need door panels

Passenger side door deadened (inner skin). going to slowly work on dying the interior panels black and hopefully have it all done by spring. only thing im not touching is the seats for now, think im going to get some power sequoia seats because fuck it, why not more adjustable
    [IMG]

also have the front shocks and springs.. just waiting on one more part to get them assembled and then starts the front end rebuild

Front shocks are in the truck. sitting 24" from center of wheel to fender. 23 in the back. if it doesnt settle out level i'll add a leaf from a 2nd gen taco recall spring.
ARB 885 springs with billie 5100 shocks. springs are narrower than stock so control arm clearance is actually better than factory
    [IMG] [IMG]
    [IMG] [IMG]

also discovered the driver side shock was beyond broke. Cheap DIY long travel? shock magically gained about 1.5" of travel

Next project is getting new lower control arms, balljoints and then giving it back to the body shop to fix the tweak behind the cab.

Even without aligning, no sway bar and shitty bent control arm, this thing drives and sits way nicer

ball joints, camber bolt sleeves, and end links are in... should have the control arms by tuesday from napa... then the only Not new part on the truck is the upper arms (until i decide to inevitably put uniball uppers on, but i want to find a used set to throw ICON delta joints on, since its the exact same setup as the 1st gen spindle.. Hell im putting my New 01 taco upper ball joints on this tundra!)
