I washed my 2016 double cab for the first time and noticed that my drip molding on the passenger side roof has a 3/4" or so gap where the two pieces of molding come together on the roof. This has me worried being water and debris are able to run freely into the gap. Both the driver and passenger side molding is two pieces, but the drivers side has no gap. Does anyone know if this molding should be one solid strip as it appears here?

I'd appreciate it if anyone could post a picture of their molding if it is one solid strip to show the dealer.

Any idea if water getting in there could cause any harm?

    Thanks!
