Wouldn’t the warranty for that fall under the 3/36 portion of the warranty?

I prefer to wash my truck with a sandpaper mitt instead of those dirt filled automatic car wash brushes. Keeps the paint looking incredible,

What's this washing thing you guys are talking about? Is that like parking it outside when it rains or something?

Someone mentioned the molding got ripped off in one of those automatic carwashes. The ones with the brushes filled with dirt that beat the crap out of your truck.

I do far worse things to my truck's paint.

My passenger side roof molding comes off in the blowers too...I have some 3M body molding tape that I need to use to fix that. I only wash it every other month though so it's never been a huge priority.

Same exact problem on my brand new 2019. First time I ran it through the touchless car wash with the blower, it flew off. It was attached at the front by some molding tape but it still pops up.

AS an FYI, I got some of that tape at my local VIP auto store. Mine flipped up on the first car wash.

Roof Moldings needed for a 2013 double cab.

I gave my Tacoma to my son as a gift for going through 4 years of college with no debt!!! It had the factory roof rack (which is a nice piece). He is now taking the roof rack off to provide clearance for a camper top he will be installing. He would like to fill the area where the roof rack was installed with the factory roof moldings. Does anyone have a pair they would like to sell for a reasonable price? Dealer prices are ridiculous. He is located in Missoula, Montana.

    Thank you, Frank 678-596-1207
