First time going on a Night ride through Glamis with my new light bar I was so Excited, but it ended up being a huge letdown. The glare was downright blinding, I could kind of see ok if i pulled over and wiped the dust off my windshield every few minutes but I ended up just turning it off because of the strain on my eyes.

As soon as I got home I scoured the internet looking for a product to fix the problem and found nothing. I searched dozens of forums and found mostly mickey mouse fixes, things like gluing on plastic, drilling into the lightbar, vinyl wrapping the hood in flat black, or moving the mounts into odd looking positions... these fixes are all fine and dandy if its a dedicated off road toy, but for a Daily Driver I wanted a cleaner more professional looking fix.

Here is what I came up with. 42 inch LED light bar Anti-Glare Visor/Reflector, Aluminum sheet Anodized black, it uses stock lightbar mounting bolts and is adjustable to fit nearly any 42 inch lightbar. Check out the website: www.JustOffRoad.org

Wow, that's a great solution! I'm surprised this didn't get more recognition.

Good solution for a problem that I don't have. I thought about getting a roof mounted light but I think I've got plenty of light as it is with the Rigid D2's and Rigid 20" bar. Plus I didn't want the wind noise. In reality I have no use for a roof mounted bar other than looks. I've got the looks dept. checked off at the moment :)

I have two 20s behind the grill and the 50 up top. 50 is a pretty big difference. Plus it being up high fills in dips and things better - shadows aren't as weird

Subbed! don't know if I love how it would look on a curved 50 but... it is a fix.

A pretty useful fix especially on a white truck. Mine glares like a mofo

its 4 inches, once mounted it extends about 3.5 inches out from the actual lens of the light bar.

I would have loved one of these last night. How do they do in the wind? Make any noise?

Also curious about wind noise. Seems like a good idea.

I always wondered if glare from roof mounted bars was one of those "unspoken" pains of having them. That answers that!
