I have a new roof rack on the taco. I knew it was going to make some noise based on previous experience. Perhaps it’s because the Taco is relatively quiet, but it’s pretty noticeable. I’m sure my highway commute at 80mph only makes it worse.

I’m wondering if some sound dampening up above the liner will make a difference for those frequencies. It’s really not any whistling, just the rush of wind over the irregular surfaces. I have a 30” light bar coming that may help some by filling the gap between the two front crossbars. We’ll see.

Open to suggestions and even “Nah, not much is going to fix that”.
