Greetings! I'm interested in getting a roof rack for my '03 Double Cab. I'm in Cambodia, so my options are somewhat limited. There should be an abundance of second hand roof racks available, but from what I've seen by researching, I'm worried that whatever trim pieces accompany the rack might need to be new? Or are these reusable as well? Any issues here?

My other option is to have a simple roof rack / tray built for me, and to install it directly to the top of the cab. If done right, I think this would be stronger... but I'm a little weary of drilling holes in the cab.

Load wise, I'm planning on the occasional use for carrying kayak/canoe and bed overflow. I'm wanting to have a simple awning made too that will attach to whatever I end up going with.

    Thanks for the thoughts!
