What width bars are you guys with Yakima/Thule racks running? I'm going to be buying landing pads, towers, and bars for my Snugtop that already has Yakima tracks. I'm going back and forth between the 66" and 78" bars, I know the 78" bars will definitely be wider than the truck but having the extra space would be nice for the future.

go long, if you hate it later you can cut them back. I had short bars on my camry for years and always wished I'd gone longer, could have run more bikes and wheels...

I run 66's and it works great. I wouldn't want them to be any bigger. I fit two 10' kayaks side by side without any issues. I even put my mountain bike between them and it still works (if I remove the pedals from the bike).

Think I had 66" on my old 1st Gen (and will be on my 2015 once I get my camper back from the paint shop)... 78" might be a little wide. I could fit a canoe and kayak side by side in the 66s. And they fit diagonally in my shortbed when I didn't need them.

5100's all around with OME 884 at 0. Weathertechs, Carhartt seat covers. BFG KO2's 265/70/17. T4R SEMA wheels. 18% tint on front windows. General Springs HD 4 leaf pack, Leer 100 XR shell.
I run 58" and they are about the width of the truck. clear the shell on each side by a few inches. work for my uses but Im not using them for kayaks. just bikes and a tray for gear. Ill post up a picture later to compare against others
