I should probably get one of those too. I plan on getting some setup like that in my car too. Mind sharing your setup?

Edit: minus the sPOD part though

I like the new rails... that may add a little bit of overall weight. Is that the 'Big John' version and there's still the smaller squarish option, or is this the new norm? Also, just noticed it's going to be hard to pick an 'end design' to be compatible with the various caps out there. Going to pick a 'one size fits all' or try and customize side rails to fit the shape of the various caps?

The 80/20 is the new norm, these will be powdercoated black. The whole rack weights less than 100lbs for front and rear combined. Most caps have a similar shape on the rear end so this will be standard.

A college buddy of mine bought one of the 'remake' versions of the GTO. I sort of scoffed at it until he put his foot in it. It didn't sound like an old monster v8 with open air carbs.... but it sure put some rubber down in a hurry. I think those guys actually got pretty good reviews as well, if you could get past the looks.

Close.... Cayman GTS. I've always had a thing for the P cars. This one is the last of the flat sixes (newer ones are turbo 4's and honestly outperform mine until you factor in the aural experience). Well, there is the special edition Cayman GT4 that they dropped the 4L six into, but that's outside my budget. About the only other 'new' P car that would get me out of this one is one of the new 911 Carrera T's.

You really have to pay attention in the Caymans. They are really well balanced and there's not a whole lot of warning when the back end starts to slip in the corners. The butt g-meter has to be on its game. The 911's.... hell, you get about a week and a half of warning since the ass end is so heavy comparatively.

GTO is definitely one of my favorite muscle cars. Not a Ford fan, but who doesn't like a Mustang or two? And of course the late 60's Camaro's rock. And everybody's favorite whipping boy... the El Camino!

We traded three cars in about 2 years (yikes). I figure I'll drive the Cayman until the left leg says no more. Taco should get me 20 if I care for it well. I figure I'm set for at least 10 years, maybe 20 if Hellboy still fits my needs then.

Hi, new here to TW. Joined partially to enquire about these sweet racks youve got coming up. When will they be available and do you have a guesstimate for price? Thanks!

They will be available in the next couple weeks.

The Standard Alpha rack seen on Micah's truck is $899 with all black powder coat

The Alpha xL is $1099, all black powdercoat and includes the antenna relocate and a savvy little wiring plug to wire lights, solar and whatever else.

The Alpha eX (for caps) all black is also $899.

Custom powder coat to match truck is $100 per rack.

I'm down for a XL just gotta save some coin. Also can you get them with a bar where the shark fin antenna is because my 05 doesn't need antenna relocation or clearance

Would the price be a bit cheaper for those that don't need the antenna relocation?
