Hi, does any know of a product or method to put rails on a 2008 access cab? The end result would be putting a Baja type rack on top to carry a spare tire. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks Adam

I have seen threads on people cutting a factory double cab rack in half and using that. access cabs so have the first set of holes already there

I was reading another thread on here and supposedly there art no attachment points under the plastic strip on access cabs and that people were sust screwing to the sheet metal. I was hoping that wasn't true and didn't want to remove mine until I knew more. That is a good idea with the double cab rack if something is there though. I also found that Smitybuilt does make a cage that would work dimension wise.

Rivnuts or nutserts are your friend, there are no mounting holes towards the back of the cab. Yakima or Thule are another option and totally easier if you're not comfortable drilling in to the roof of your truck.
