Roof rack help

2020 Tacoma TRD sport

So I'm having a bit of trouble. I'm looking to get a roof rack and I personally like the smittybilt defender rack... but I can't find anyone that's used it as a roof rack. Is that because the mounting hardware doesn't work with the way 3rd gens are set up? I'd really like to know. Should I go with baja rack?
