Glad install went well. Might have a set local I can pick up but waiting to hear back. How much you looking for complete set?

Ok. To be honest I don't even know lol, never priced them out. Wonder how much shipping would be, PM me an offer, I'm not looking to make a killing on these just to help out a fellow member.

What does installing one of these entail? I've pondered the idea, but wasn't sure how much of a hassle, and haven't had time to find any racks. I really love the tube style the Nissan trucks use.

Pen racks are fairly easy. About an hour install once you have everything together. There are videos on YouTube.

Has anyone seen an OEM roof rack with a fairing?

I think if you google it, you'll find a few photos.

I have an old Yakima one (from my Jetta, years back). I should try to see if it fits on the OEM crossbar... Maybe this weekend. Maybe.

I hope I didn't come across as one of those "google it" guys. I was just too lazy to post the links. I didn't see anything particularly great, either.

(Now what I'd like to see is if anyone has made/used one for a 4-Wheel Pop-Up Camper... but that's another thread for another day)

Was this a pretty simple install? I just ordered one today to haul my kayak

They are pretty straight forward and fairly easy. Few videos on YouTube and holes already tapped in roof of the double cabs.

Yes pretty straight forward.. The areas of the process that took me the longest to complete were:

removing the sticky foamy thing form the factory whether strip. i used some solvent and rob and rob and rob until gone...

Aligning the metal bracket (included in the roof rack) that mounts in the front of the cabin to screw the short bolts to fasten the plastic roof rack rails.. i ended up using a center punch tool to align one hole, while screwing one of the bolts, once one bolt was in the second went in easy
Non of the above is a big deal, it just took me a bit more time to complete the process
make sure you use some RTV silicone to seal the bolts to avoid any water leakage..

Thanks guys. I’m going to try and get it installed tomorrow. Shouldn’t be a problem, I’m going to check out YouTube for a couple pointers
