Hey guys. New on here. I want to buy a roof rack for my 05 tacoma quad cab. Anyone know the difficulty or on how to install it? I'd appreciate the help.

OEM roof rack? Literally a 30 minute install. Take the weather strips off and remove stickers to reveal the roof rack bolts, line em up, bolt on.

Very easy to do. Just follow the instructions if you are unsure. Definitely follow the torque specifications.

Yeah are you talking aftermarket or OEM? Either way they are all easy to install.

    Chrome don't get you home
If your talking Factory Toyota, do some searching here, there was a nice TIp that a member posted up about bending the brackets a little on the front mounts to allow it to sit flush to the roof, Mine has a small gap in the fronts as I didn't find that little tip til after my install

They come with directions in the box, very simple, they don't tell you to bend it though.

Search posts and you should find it.
