    A few mods here and there and counting....
    I used mine to attach my Thule snowboard carrier for the winter season, after winter, its in the stowaway position and to me, it gives the truck an aggressive stance. Yes, the wind noise is loud once the bars cross over. To remedy this, i purchased an Inno medium fairing to reduce the wind noise.

    Did you figure out a way to mount the Thule rack to your roof?
