OP, if you are going for look, Prinsu is the way to go and def worth the investment.

If you are deadset on just using the basket your buddy is selling you, go for the OEM rack which runs about $300.

EDIT: Found an off brand even cheaper for $210

Is the front runner rack and 2 load bars right around that price too? Not the slimline loaded one. Just the one with the 2 bars. Those look nice from a utility perspective.

Happy Memorial Day. Thank you for your service. Because of you, I have the freedom to geek out here on TW. I've got one in my shoping cart at Prinsu $659. Lots of options to choose from. Their lead time on the website is now 7-8 weeks. Have both the 32" and 40" cut out in the in the cart, but having seen your rig... I'm sold on the 40" Did they do your lighting or did you have it done somewhere else. Anybody ever see a roof rack in red?

Also looking for a thread on secure Tonneau Cover that also easily allows for spontaneous wife to buy furniture.

    None :-((. Yet :-))
I've got the Gobi stealth rack on mine, and could not be happier. My first choice was the Baja rack because of the price point, but after 10 weeks of waiting they told me it would be another 4-6 weeks and my shipping costs were underestimated. All of which was unacceptable to me, so I called Gobi, which I always felt was the best looking, I explained what I had been through, and could not be happier with both their product as well as their customer service

Hi, i see alot of this saying its only for 2005 to 2015 models. Will they fit the 2017 double cabs?

I ordered a Warrior roof rack for around $550 shipped. The air dam was another $90 though. It should come in this week and I can report on the build quality and ease of install. Here's a picture of what it looks like (ignore the horribly wrapped truck). I went with it over Prinsu because of the wait times. Prinsu was 8+ weeks, Warrior was 1 1/2.

There are two versions, the new one has a higher weight rating. But both will work with the third gen double cabs.

Yes but I would search here before you pull the trigger just to be safe. Just type in the model number or part code in the search bar and select the third gen subforum only.

How easy is the install of the prinsu cabrac? Also is this something you could install and reinstall depending on if you are using it for a tent up top? Not sure if I would like it on 100% of the time driving around... Does look pretty good though!

Install I would say is a 5 on the difficulty scale of 1-10. Its not something that is easily taken off once installed. The bolts are under the cross bars and require you to take the cross bars off to gain access. Also, you are cutting/punching the roof stripping so there will be 5 holes on each side of the roof stripping. You are sealing the holes with silicone before you put the bolts in (the holes go all the way through the roof and not sealed correctly may cause water to leak)

Prinsu is meant to be installed and left on.

Makes sense, just watched a video on the install and saw that same deal with sealing the roof strips.

As for the Prinsu Cabrac, I'm assuming throwing a Tepui or CVT tent up there along with a 200 pound person is totally fine weight wise?
