    I love the OEM because when you don´t use it you don´t have the noise of the air at high speeds and the truck looks clean, the Yakima is great as well but you´ll have to leave it there forever because you´ll never know when you´ll need it.

    one like that that (light rack, not a full basket) would be a hell of a lot cheaper to ship up to AK :eek:

    mine is a mix of 1'' and 3/4''. the other two i've done most recently are 3/4''. how many feet greatly depends on the design......but it's a lot once you ad in a floor grid and basket sides.

    Just got my Hella's mounted on the Yakima crossbars. Kinda did a redneck quicky job to mount them. Just made some tabs bolted on the crossbars themselves. gonna look into a better solution but for right now it works! i love the look! seperates me from all the other tacoma's running around Oregon haha. Still have to wire them up though...don't really wanna drill so i might just run them through the rear sliding window seeing how i never open it.

    I don't have the hole under the rubber strips cause it's an access cab...assuming thats what you did, i didnt check out your guy's builds cause I'm lazy..still running dial-up cause unfortunately there's no high speed available in the mountains. hahahaha. takes like 4 min for each picture to show up in a thread. it kills me.

    Ahhh! Good point. Yeah I forgot about that. And yeah we used the existing roof rack holes.
