If you have the $ Thule Whisbar 27 flush mounts would be really nice.

I already had a Yakima set from a previous vehicle, so just used different clips for the Q towers, and am in business.

The Yakima tubes are round, which is a p.i.t.a. for adding accessory fixtures, eg kayak pads, as they want to spin around the bar.

The aero or square shape would give a better grip for add-ons.

Kind of an off topic question but is there any model of Thule cargo box that will fit on the stock roof rack?

Blue, what are the poles for bolted near your high lift? Collapsible shovel or something? Looks well thought out what ever it is. Very nice.

The poles are for the floor jack skid also on the baja rack. I'll try to show a better picture.

I need to work on a build thread.

I honestly really like the OEM rack mostly because I can deploy or stow the crossbars, so my mileage doesn't take such a big hit.

I have a flat utility Bajarack on the cab and Yakima bars on the truck topper.

The yakima bars hold a section of ABS pipe with Kodiak tent poles inside, two aluminum Flex One Folding Chairs, and a Road Shower.

The Bajarack holds my 75 Watt solar array, Three burner Camp Chef Expedition stove (90K BTU!), BBQ Box, a 10x10 popup canopy, and dual band ham antenna

In this picture we were on our way out of the campground.
