Not sure if this is the right place to post this and I searched and did not find what I was looking for but can you get the J Carriers for Kayaks for the Toyota Roof Rack. I have seen the Thule and Yakima but like the factory rack better but have not found a Kayak carrier for it or the max load capacity for it. Any one have any suggestions?

Try this. I have an inno bike carrier on my factory Tacoma roof rack. Perhaps they make one for the Kayak. Hope it helps.

My thought is that any carrier,(kayak, bike, box etc.) that adapts to "factory roof racks" will work with our racks.I know that Yakima has a product called"mighty mounts" that are designed to attach to the flatter, wider factory racks commonly found on vans and SUV's.Essentially thats all the crossbars are on the Tacoma factory rack.
