I just today noticed that I am missing the passenger side roof trim molding on my 09. Im sure it came off the last time I took it through the car wash. Looking at prices it seems like I might as well get myself a roof rack since the oem toyota part is $100+

So, other than oem what are some low priced, decent roof rack options I should look at?

I got a Toyota OEM roof rack 6 months old
I’ll sell it to you for half price, bought it. Put it in. 1 month later it is stored. Have all parts
Looks like it came right out of the box
    I’m in Webster

I’m looking for an affordable roof rack myself and to be honest.
The OEM roof rack is the only thing that is less than CAD $500.00 and it doesn’t look like crap.

    Anything else is CAD $800+.

If you just want some cross bars a cheaper alternative while still getting some quality is buy the Tacoma rack mounting feet ala-carte from Sherpa equipment co (under their “components” section) and get some cheap 1x2” extrusion from tnutz with mounting hardware.

I’ve both made a full extrusion rack and also just run extrusion cross bars and it’s relatively affordable compared to the CNC’ed racks.

I've seen some people here use roof racks from an FJ Cruiser before, so maybe that's an option as well.

While I’m less than an hour from him so if he wants a brand new roof rack, I’m sure he’ll reach out to me

Greevs, I appreciate the offer but I’ve moved and forgot to update my signature. I’m in Ohio now, Ashland county.
I am leaning towards one of the $100 versions since I’m not going to use it for anything heavy.
