I'm looking for pics of roof racks and snowboard racks on their 2nd Generation Access Cab Tacoma's. Trying to get some ideas about putting a Snowboard rack on my truck.

Neither of the links took me to the correct forum. I tired searching and I couldn't find anything.

But I do have a question about the Thule/Yakima Racks. I do not have a stock roof so how exactly can I mount the aftermarket rack on and how stable is it?

I used to have a Yakima roof rack with the Thule snowboard holders on them when I went boarding. I swapped the Yakima rack with the factory OEM rack cause I liked how you can stow away the bars when not in use. The Thule snowboard holders still work on the factory bars as well with the Thule wide-mouth universal clips. Works great to be honest. SOrry, dont have any pictures though but I do have pictures of both the Yakima and factory rack on my truck in my profile.

Yea I've seen the bedrail ones. Not something that I personally like. Looking for the on top rack.

    Stock for now
I have a thule rack that has been on my truck since March 2007. Its pretty sturdy and has held its own on the truck carrying all kinds of stuff. I mainly carrying kayaks, my skis go in the back.
Get the fairing though as WW says the bars don't stow like a factory rack plus it helps with wind noise.

They are $600+ brand new just for the uprights and crossmembers. Two bike carrier were $150/ea $300 total. And basket was $150 after buying extension too. However, I got the main rack for $200 on CL. I ended up selling everything because I hated lifting and lowering it all the damn time! I still have the bike carriers, Interested?
