Hi, I just received my 2023 Tacoma that has been on order since May. I'm having a factory roof rack installed. If anyone has a factory roof rack on their Tacoma, could you please measure the height of it at the highest point? Not sure if the side rails or cross bars are higher. Much appreciated. Thanks

welcome and careful here,,, I THINK the antenna was changed in the latter years, and that doesn't clear the OE roof rack,, and that is why it was disco'd.

It was relocated on my early 2020 build (which still has the trans cooler) to where the stock rack would no longer work. i believe it was corrected and moved back to its original position during the 2020 mid-year refresh when they removed the trans cooler

Not sure if this is what you mean, but the high point of the bars is certainly taller than the side rails. The height above the ground will vary depending on tires, lift, model, etc.

Factory roof rack...are there cross bars that can be added...To be more specific, cross bars that could be added without deploying the factory cross bars. The goal is to have a flat platform to attach to, not the factory camber that comes with the bars. Has anyone installed any and are they worth the money(if there is such a thing).

The Thule Foot Pack seems to work. See post#8 here:

    That should get you started.
