    All,

Want a roof rack for my 2020 tacoma double cab. Show me pics and then please list pros and cons for ones that you have. What do you recommend, what should I avoid?

    Thanks,

    Dan

    • Includes all stainless mounting hardware.
    • Includes rubber weather stripping.
    • Works with the factory sunroof.
    • Free shipping to the lower 49
Let me know if you have any specific questions

I have a more specific question. My 2020 Pro is currently on order. According to the Toyota website, the stock height of the Pro is 71.6". On a regular basis, I need to be able to park in a parking garage that has a clearance height of 6'6". That only leaves 6" is I want to put on a roof rack. What is the height of everyone's rack above the top of the cab?

Bear in mind the roof top is not completely flat and parallel to the ground. I'm in the market for a rack myself and have been doing a lot of research. The two side rails mounting position will actually sit lower than the center/dome of the roof. The true additional height of any rack needs to be measured post installation from the ground to the top of the rack with driver. The height of the rack itself plus the published height of the truck does not equal the new overall height with rack. Spoke to the guy from UpTopOverland with the same concern and he told me their rack only adds less than two inches to the truck (don't remember the exact number).
I'm dealing with the same concern with a vertical clearance of only 6'-7" in my garage.
