    Hey Guys,
Thinking of getting a roof rack (cab rack for double cab). Looking at Prinsu, Rough Country, and any other suggestions. Are they worth it? Do they damage the roof, or are they hard to take off for resale?
My main purpose would be for kayak, luggage/boxes, fishing rods, gun, and awning. And maaaaybe a bicycle. No need for a tent.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks,
    BC

One thing to be mindful of is that newer cargo boxes are not flat on the bottom like the old ones, and the recessed feet/claws might not be long enough to wrap around existing crossbars on the platform. The solution for that is buying additional crossbars to sit above the level of the platform, to the tune of $500-600 for name brand. I am no expert on platform racks, but I have seen issues with Yakima and Thule boxes not playing well with some. The other accessories should mount just fine. Other folks will be able to add more specific info.

you buy the rack, then you buy the specific attachments for whatever you want to carry. lots of aftermarket product's for kayak, boxes, poles, etc...
I regularly carry building materials on my 20241020_102832(0).jpg Prinsu and it has held up for years.
    easy enough to mount also.
