Roof Skin/Panel: Where can i find one?!?!

My '02 taco standard cab has a crushed lid and I'm losing my mind. I rolled it a few years ago and have since replaced all other body panels. The only thing I need before I paint is the roof!

I have been searching the net on and off for years and have not been able to find a single result or mention of anyone reskinning the roof on a tacoma nor have I been able to find the part.

This seems strange to me, because this is a common body repair procedure on other vehicles. Where are the Tacoma roofs? Am I stuck with waiting for the junk yard to have a Tacoma that's not rolled?

I'm not having much luck here guys, any thoughts are appreciated.

do you mean the headliner? the inside part of the roof?

 

There is such a thing as a 2001 - 2004 Regular Cab 'Roof Panel' (exterior sheet metal). It was originally listed as part number 63111-04040.

 

i would search salvage yards because i bet even if u find a production roof skin it will cost a fortune, another option is convertible, lol j/k! good luck man!

 

What he said, salvage yards. They have it linked by computer what each yard has and they ship from any of them that has the part you need to a yard near you
