Three month old roof top tent rack made by Uptop Overland for the retrax XR series tonneau covers. The rack weights 45lbs and is capable of supporting 300lbs dynamic and 1000lbs static.

Shipping and taxes new was 1000.00 asking 700.00 will ship it in bicycle box but due to the size it will cost 60.00 to ship it. I believe Uptop is behind on orders as well by 8 weeks. If you live in Las Vegas pick up would be awesome. This rack is modular so it will fit full size trucks as long as you have the Retrax Tonneau cover. The cross bars can be bought from Uptop Overland should you decide to move it to a wider bed full size truck.

It will come with the rotopax add on plate also a 120.00 value.

Yes! That is why I love this bedrack it is so modular. You want to make it bigger for a bigger truck yes you can do it. You want to add it to different cover, yes you can do it. It is also the lightest on the market at 45lbs.

 

Yes, the tonneau brackets would work with this rack AND your cover

 

Will this only fit over that particular cover? I’ve got an OEM trifold cover on now. Will it fit without any cover at all? I’ll get rid of the oem cover.

 

If I can mount a 23 Zero to it as is and it’ll fit onto my oem shortbed it’s as good as sold. Let me know...

I may even come get it if you can help me mount it...

 

You have to get those adapters from Uptop Overland in the link below if you want to mount the rack without an Retrax Tonneau Cover. The adapters just mount to the accessory rail in the bed under your existing tonneau cover. I do not see why your tent would not be able to mount up on this rack unless you have a four person tent that needs to be higher to clear the cab, for that answer you would have to research yourself with 23 zero since I have never seen that tent in person. I had an IKamper Mini on it no problems. It would be easier for me to ship it to you unless you live in Las Vegas area or want to come here. I can have the rack already pre assembled all we have to do is lift it on your truck and bolt it down to the adapters. Weight per person to lift it is 22.5lbs per side. I have a short bed truck also.

these adapter brackets make the rack universal fit.

 

unfortunately the extra $400 bucks for those brackets makes it a deal breaker for me. I’m still tempted but not much of a savings there for me.

 

I can sell you the retrax XR cover for 800 and the rack for 650 that is 1450.00 for both but you have to come pick it up. I can help you install both in 30 minutes. The retrax cover is 1200 msrp with 8 week delay. Anyone watching can get this deal.

Im going to use this picture straight from the upTOP website. It looks just like your picture above ( Third from the top ). The bracket that you linked above is JUST for if you have any type of bed cover. So for myself, with no cover, i could mount this thing to the bed like it should be correct? Or am i missing something??

The link you gave was for a bed cover bracket, assuming i have a bed cover. So with no bed cover, i shouldnt need it. disclaimer: its 1230, I've been up all day, and I think I'm slow in the head lol
