I would assume so. The tires aren't really the concern. Just be mindful of your payload. You can go over your payload a little, but it's not recommended. Most RTTs weigh less than an average adult and that's probably the heaviest thing you're adding, apart from yourself.

I have a bed rack, RTT, and traction boards all on my bed rails and I've been fine for over a year no stiffeners, lots of highway miles and gravel roads. I plan on getting stiffeners in the next month or so though.

HOWEVER, keep in mind I'm driving a 2019 3rd gen. I've seen close up pictures of the back corners of the beds on 2nd gens once cracked, and they do appear different-shaped to me than mine are. On mine, it looks like the factory terminated the corners with a curved shape instead of in a right angle like on second gens (and maybe even earlier 3rd gens). If I were you, I would not off-road fast & hard with a RTT without the stiffeners.

    Hope this helps!

P.S. I'm on completely stock wheels, tires, and suspension and sag a tiny bit on the back end. 26k miles.

I know this is an older post, but much like all your headlight investigations, this seems like the most honest statement of RTT use and what I assumed to be true. I have a solid Leer shell for work so a roof mounted basket and cargo box with a ground tent works great and when necessary I can sleep in the shell if weather is really bad.
