I beg your pardon good sir.

I’ve gladly gotten laid by Palmala and Rosey.

Just kidding. Usually my wife and kids are with me and that’s super weird and gross.

Fuck the pee bottle. I spent too many nights stapled to the side of a mountain, waiting out a three day storm for a summit window. Eating Top Ramen with peanut butter and Frito's, reading the packages for entertainment...and peeing in a bottle. Now I want to drive to camp and sleep in a tent that I can stand up in, with a cot, blankets, nightstand, lantern, and a good book. And when I want to pee, I want to step outside and let er rip (at a reasonable distance from the tent of course). I don't want to climb a ladder, I don't want to climb anything anymore. I can dig the RTT thing though. The taco isn't my DD anymore, so I'm looking fondly at the setup that @m3bassman is rolling with. Might try it out.

I agree sleeping on the ground is uncomfortable, I am hoping to upgrade to. An RTT this year, but until then I will continue to hang.

Yeah baby. We used to say "climbing is kinda like fun...only different". Everything is luxury after that. Ground tent vs RTT is really a pillow fight over the best way to car camp.

I like RTT since it gets the wife to go too, which means more camping, worth the cost

I jumped on the RTT bandwagon and immediately sold it after 1 week sleeping in it. Reasons its gone:
    - 12 to 14 mpg hwy
    - too loud to sleep in windy conditions. It's hard to stay out of the wind when you are up high.
    - if it gets wet and not dry when you fold it up to move you compress all that water through the tent when you fold it.
    - adding an annex to change in or leave dirty clothes in before getting into the tent is practically setting up a conventional tent.
    - takes up a lot of space when no lt in use

In the future I'll either hotel it or be in a 2P tent in the back country
