Selling my basically brand new Roofnest Sparrow X roof top tent. I just purchased this awesome tent in September. Its been out a handful of times. Always keeps me warm and dry.

It is a fiberglass hardshell pop up tent with a built in roof rack, able to support 100lbs. I have never had anything on the rack myself.

Its mountable on almost any vehicle with a roof rack. I have it mounted on my Tacoma. If you're interested in getting off the cold/wet ground while camping, this is the next step!

I am more than willing to show you how easy this is to setup and take down. And I will also help you transfer it to your vehicle rack. It only weighs 140lbs.

The Sparrow X has now been replaced by the Sandpiper, if you are doing some research. https://roofnest.com

I am asking $2,300 and delivery within 200 miles of 20147. (TW discount available too)

    More pictures available upon request.

I want to get back into a tent from FreeSpirit Recreation. They have awesome customer service, and the quality is 10/10 IMO.

The next tent might be the one that opens with a button. :D:cool:

DUDE same. I regret selling mine! I remember we sold ours at the same time.

I miss the airflow of the windows a lot! And man..If I had one that opened with a button :amen: m49 or m55?

Edit: Do you know the rise of your bed rack?

My bedrack is the standard (short bed) rack from BAMF. I believe it is 13" above the bedsides. But @JLee can confirm.

Yes, i miss the windows and overall quality of the FSR tent. Not that the RoofNest isn't great also. I think FSR only has the m49 in the auto hardshell. They have auto softshell versions of the m55 too. But storing the cover in a truck, isnt that great if you set up camp in wet conditions.

Roofnest is hella good too, you can't beat the setup and aerodynamics of one.

And got it, it looked around 18" or so to me so just wanted to see as I want my new rack to sit similar! Before I turn this thread into a discussion boards I'll just say GLWS!

Im not complaining, it keeps it at the top of the main page hah.

You know, you might be right. It sits below the 3rd brake light on my 2nd gen. And I don't think that is 13". The 13" might be the low profile RTT rack that I had with a different FSR tent.

    Edit: never mind. Jerry knows!

Found this picture on IG of the Roofnest Eagle (the biggest one) on a 3rd gen short bed. It still fits and doesn't look bad!

    Thank you!

You might be able to see it in person. I just requested July 8-30 off from work. Goal for me to get to Seattle. With pit stops in Denver, Moab, Portland, Norcal, Bay Area, Vegas, AZ, and then back home..

Still planning, even though im more of a throw a bag and go person..

That's awesome! Any reason in particular you're heading to Sea-town? Summers out here are killer. Hard to beat a nice day in the PNW, but I'm bias. : D

I get a week and a half of every X-mas and I've been thinking about a road trip to Moab or Yellow Stone.

I just chose the summer so i can drive over the Rockies without much snow.

I love summer, and I actually was in Portland area in January and it wasn't horrible. I like it, and was trying to move haha. But not successful yet
