I am planning a cross-country trip this Summer and looking for recommendations for Tacoma rooftop tents or something similar. I'd like to be able to use campgrounds as much as possible rather than hotels and motels. However, I am not in the market to buy a full camper for the bed of the truck. Thanks!

Thank you! This is very helpful, and I hope to be part of the RTT club soon.

Racks are separate. I'd recommend the Roam Vagabond over the Tepui, personally. But you can't go wrong with either. Just avoid the cheap ones like Smittybuilt.

    Welcome by the way

Only real difference is the material, it’s thicker to prevent condensation better

look around depending on what your willing to spend there is some killer tents out there

alu cab, roam, tepui, 27zero? I believe are some of look into if I were doing it all again
