i replaced all of my scuff plate screws and did not complain like this because those things were less than $1 a piece!
these hooks are +1000% of those screws

I mean I wouldn't buy new ones. Exactly why I painted mine as I showed earlier. So people are complaining about the price of $10 ea new yet they want to pay to get them powder coated, nickel plated, or get custom ones made? Like I said, ya'll are crazy! :der:

May as well make a cheaper version of the seat spacers too. That thread has gotten a lot of attention. $100 for two chunks of aluminum. Dudes gotten 19 people comited, that's a quick $1900!

All those seat spacers crack me up. I've never driven a 3rg gen, I have only sat in one so I'll never understand it but in a first gen I really don't understand it. I wish my seat sat lower & I'm short. Here we frown upon shock spacers, leaf spring blocks, ball joint spacers but seat spacers are ok? :notsure:

    The mind boggles!

But yeah I get it, everyone is different, I'll respect that.

I guess if theres a market for it, may as well take advantage of it. Theyll probably spend a day or so making a prototype on a manual mill, then draw up the final design and send it to a CNC. They'll have their $2k made before lunch lol.

Especially when you can make a set from strut channel for like $20 or move the seat back so your knees are lower.

Okay @GQ2772 you got your solution, to replace them with new ones. This satisfies what question you have or what other info or solution you were after?

Man, just Linex right over them. That's what I did to mine, it's what I did to my entire truck actually Lol. You can see my truck, but I can take a pic of my tie downs and show you if you want. That being said, I have brand new oem tie downs and screws because I bought them prior to realizing I couldn't get them off haha. For sale if interested ;)

Yeah I tried to remove mine, once with a driver, twice with a ratchet, broke all the bits Lol
