Well technically 6 I suppose. They're double up stacked vertically. Might be moving some things around though for ease of fueling. I have some clever ideas....

Thanks guys! I just ordered me a packmount with a 3 gal extension for the Toyota mounting plate that attaches to the bed rails. Trial and error to see if the mount on the rail can handle the weight and some bumpy off roading. Appreciate the pics tho!

I'm having a trouble getting the plate mounted to the bed rail. Here are my issues.
    1. The thingy that goes to secure it into the rail is too slim- it slides in and out horizontally. I then tried using a washer to create a larger area to keep it in, but then the screw was too short and wouldn't grab the thingy.
    2. So I thought maybe it's supposed to go vertically. But then it's too tall.
    3. Then I found these oval slots and thought maybe that's how it's supposed to attach (no instructions came with the plate.) It fit nicely but the placement of these oval holes makes it so the plate is half off the rail, the other one I found was over the wheel well and didn't allow room for the cans to attach.
    4. Can someone help me out? I bought the mounting plate for RX-TN. I read the description and it said it was compatible with Nissan and Tacoma bed rails. Did I get a lemon? Of course I am outside of the return window so I can't send it back. For some reason the "thingy" looks longer than others that I have seen on the internet when I search Tacoma Rotopax mounting plate.
    Suuuuuper annoyed. UGH.

Yeah those don't look like they'll work :notsure: cheap solution would be to just buy some aluminum rectangular stock from home depot and tap the holes yourself. Probably about $10 in materials including the tap. As long as you have a drill and drill bit for the initial hole. And a metal hand saw or Sawzall. ..

I've got spare steal you could use if you don't want aluminum. I bought like 4' of it so I could make them when needed...

My understanding on those is their meant to slide in horizontally and then as you torque the bolt it kicks that in at an angle grabbing hold of the top and bottom preventing it from sliding out.

Same. I need 2 water PAX. I have a 4 gallon fuel, but the water PAX and about 4 mounts are what I really need.

@ramonortiz55 you've taken a lot of my money in the last 2 months so whats a little more :cookiemonster:
