Rotor/Bearing Question

    Be careful with the wd40. To much can cause damage to seals and orings over time.

    I spray it on first, with the caliper dry... Let it set for about 10 minutes then start on it with a toothbrush, and soapy water.. scrub it all good, and the soapy watch should wash all the WD40 away. Then I rinse with hot water.. and rinse again. then dry it..

    It may be over kill, but I can't help myself. :D


    I have heard before WD-40 can be bad on seals, thats why I use the soapy water.

    K&N cold air intake, doug thorley headers, rear sensor simulator, flowmaster 40 series, magnecor plug wires, Royal Purple synthetic gear lube, airaid throttle body spacer, Hyperground system, flex-a-lite elec fan.
    toyota makes caliper rebuild kits for 28 bucks. does both sides.
    when removing the rotors spray wd40 around each of the studs (to try and get it behind the rotor) Then get a hand held sledge hammer and smack in between the studs real hard. works every time for me.

    x2 in upstate ny the rust makes it near impossible to use the threaded puller holes
