I first noticed this mess when my axle seals started leaking and I got into replacing the seals, bearings, and all the e-brake parts. It was the ideal time to replace the backing plates but I had already pulled the axles and couldn't find affordable plates in my area as I was on a super tight time crunch since this is also my daily driver. As I've mentioned above this is my first Tacoma and first truck build and I am learning so much and loving it! I will be much more prepared on my second build - which will happen once my frame decides to call it quits. Hopefully later than sooner.

I got a full Differential housing I dont need. I am in Georgia so IDk how for away you are. No rust. Also, there is no plate there it is one piece and the diff installs through the front of it.

EDIT: Ah you're in Michigan. Dang I would give that thing to you for free to be honest if you were close

I’d make the drive for a free one. Does it have backing plates? ABS capable?

Im not sure about ABS I think the axle housing should be the same but not 100% would have to research. Also which plates are you referring to?
