Yeah I'd be interested to hear from them on this. I've talked with Mike Ritchie before and he was helpful on some questions I had regarding the 5160s.

Since everyone here has given me some great ideas... an recommendations for fogs? Damn SR is missing so much haha. I'd prefer to stick with stock or a similar aftermarket product. Want Rigid LED's not wanting the Rigid price haha

OK, talked to Mark Waite, he was in Moab over the last week. He confirmed they are 600lb springs but he stated that if under full preload, clips on 6&5 (i know you know but for other readers), then its the respective equivalent to a 650lb spring.

5100s are super stiff.. I took them off after about 500 miles. I can post pictures of mine next week. Adding 2.25" to the front and 1" rear block. Haters gonna hate but the most off roading I'll be doing is down old chirt roads at the hunting club. If you are going to be doing serious off roading I'd go with coils.

5100s have been accused of being overvalved for our trucks

I've had experience with all three. 5100s were the worst for me. Blowing money I know but on my 2010 I started with 5100s. Went to the toytec 3" spacer, then finished off with the toytec/bilstein coilover kit. Couldn't tell a difference in the coilovers vs spacer other than over time the spacer lift started to sag.

Well you bought a $35k+ truck so I'd suggest spending 1500 to 2000 to lift it with quality components. Just my 2 cents

So, I've had the 6112's installed for a week now. They seem to take the harshness out of the road. I still have my tire PSI high so this I think is making my ride a little harder still. This is of course just talking about on road performance but they are great so far. I did end up setting the clips to 5 on the driver and 4 on the passenger. This did exactly what I thought it would. I am maybe a 1/4" nose high (not really noticeable) but it leveled the truck out nicely. I am still waiting on the rear passenger 5160 shock because production got delayed. Next weekend I am going to do the Mojave Road, so this will be a good test for those 6112's. I wish i would have had the rears but this is an excellent upgrade from the stock OR shocks.

This was the exact review I was looking for. I got them set at 5/4 from headstrong off-road. And paired them with 5160. No AAL. Just wanted to be level.

How do you like them for daily use? I drive on the high way in OR 50 mile commute.

Two things here, just got done running Mojave Road this weekend. That means bombing out from the coast to Laughlin. On highway performance is good. My tires being skinny didn't wander too much on the freeway but with an '85' sidewall profile, a little bit is to be expected. Off road the 6112's chewed up the trail with no effort. Once they warmed up, the performed even better. Mojave Road is a perfect shakedown because it offers you every type of trail conditions. My front end felt extremely stable even at high speeds.

The thing that sucked is that I didn't get my rear left 5160 in time for the trip (backorder in production) so I had to run the factory rears. THAT SUCKED big time. They didn't have the ability to dampen enough and my rear was bottoming out a lot. It was hard to know for sure if the 5160's would have been enough but from looking at the bumpstop to the frame, there is less than 3" of up travel. I'm torn now to just install the shocks and put them to their paces or just buy new rear springs too.
[Edit: I ran with the Cooper STT PROs.235/85/16. Absolutely no rubbing]

Does anyone know what the largest wheel spacers is I can run on my stock rims. I put some Toyo MTs on and they rub when I turn to the right.

    Thanks!

I have a leveling kit on the truck, rubs with 265/75/16s. I'm afraid that big spacers will keep from having enough thread when I try and put my wheels back on.

    all tore up already
Then you are looking at the wrong spacers. Spidertrax makes popular wheel spacer for our trucks
