Bilstein 5100s all 4 corners, front set at 0.85 w/ eibach coils metalcast red, driver's side lean spacer, rear tsb leaf pack with tsb aal from toytec, 265/75/16 goodyear wrangler authority, MT Classic III 16x8 4.5bs, LR UCAs
Is anybody running the RC 3" Toyota Suspension Lift kit? It is front and rear spacers with new rear shocks for $280? I plan on running 285/75/16 on stock TRD Off Road wheels and NO spacers. I do not plan on doing any offroading... I have a JK 2 door rubicon for that... just wondering what people think of this kit if they have it... don't slay me for opting for this kit

Pics of peoples similar setups would be great. I have had 2nd gen tacomas with 5100s and also OME full suspension kits in the past with LR UCA's and was never totally sold on the ride quality/alignment with spending all the $$$ that's why I am considering this kit.

Thank you for any help/input and please ignore any ignorance that I have pertaining to this question.

Also does anybody want to go to Rausch Creek, as I am always looking for a 2nd vehicle!!

Is this a Troll? No one on here is going to say anything nice to you about that kit. That said it’s your money so whatever. Get it. But why lift at all? About 1000 posts on running 255 85 R16’s on a stock OR. Why not go that route.

I’ve asked about this kit also. Got same cock bag reply.

Aparently, if you haven’t used the search feature for a week, are not asking about an icon kit you’ll never really use or how to over stuff your wheel well with rubber- the mall patrol will have none of it.

    Some quality feedback.

Why is the RC kit bad if your just going for looks?

do a search for how spacer lifts affect the ride and what it does to the shocks.

and you thought my initial post was the "same cock bag reply"? I believe I was pretty nice about... Really I don't care, not even the tiniest bit what anyone runs on there truck. I don't care of you put square wheels on it. My point was exactly what type of response are you expecting on here... This same subject plays out over and over and over again. Put a spacer lift on Rock it. Who cares!!! Wheel the Heep, but really why bother? Toss some bigger rubber on the truck you have and save the pain and aggravation... or don't again no one cares. But likely a lot of people will tell you:

    1) why it's a bad idea
    2) that it is a bad idea
    3) attach a bunch of links to threads stating 1) and 2)

Never mind I'm checking out of this thread... The OP's own profile says

"Bilstein 5100s all 4 corners, front set at 0.85 w/ eibach coils metalcast red, driver's side lean spacer, rear tsb leaf pack with tsb aal from toytec, 265/75/16 goodyear wrangler authority, MT Classic III 16x8 4.5bs, LR UCAs"

Obviously he already knows the answer and is just having fun with us.

Mods: Is this still a Tacoma?

Regardless, there is nicer ways to express your opinions and why you think they suck, let the mods determine troll status or not. And if he was, he wouldn’t have 165 posts and not get perma banned. It may not be beneficial to him, but someone on here who doesn’t know anything about lifts might come across it one day and your explanation as to why they’re horrible might actually be beneficial, maybe not to the OP, but someone. Plus why judge based on what he already has? Your research of his profile isn’t a discovery, he disclosed it in his first post. He said he’s had it on 2nd gen, what if he’s looking to save on costs for a 3rd gen? Who are we to judge, doesn’t sound like a troll at all. Why not treat as an honest question?

appreciate the feedback, was really just looking for photos of same setup & 285/75r16 on stock TRD OR wheels WITHOUT spacers. I have a 3rd gen OR and can't figure out how to edit my profile...

I found a couple photos on google
