lol, hate is a strong word. I just want to try and make sure you're getting the best possible solution for your situation without going overkill. There are a LOT of people who hear from "that one friend" that you need a 6" lift, but really that's just to fit those shiny TSL boggers and to show off your chrome skid plate and drivelines...

If you go with a tire size like a 255/85r16 mud terrain (the "pizza cutter" which IMO is a better all around tire for off-roading anyway), some don't get any rubbing at all, though some people don't like the "look" of the skinnies.

The OME kit you're now looking at should serve you well. It's probably one of the 2 most popular lift "kits" for the 0-3" lift market (the bilstein 5100s being the other). For about $1200, you can get ALL new springs and shocks, which is a pretty damn good deal, and what a lot of guys use to fit their 33's. Call up headstrong or downsouthmotorsports or wheelers, and they'll hook you up with the proper gear for your application, like which spring rate you should get.

Don't forget a diff drop and brake line extension for the rear...
