Flashing 3rd brake light, infinity tail lights and Alpha Rex Nova black headlights, Seat covers, Mr. hood scoop with 18 inch amber light bar inside. 2 inch lift front/rear. 1.5 inch wheel spacers. Fender flares,
I received fender flares from Rough Country for my 2022 SR5. Instructions were good and watched two videos for those flares on a third gen tacoma.
Looked easy, peasy......however, while the fender flare mounting holes were located in the correct position (spacing) for the OEM predrilled holes, they were about 1/2 to 3/4 inch back from aligning up with the OEM pre drilled fender holes.

Any advice? Am I missing something?

I have installed lift kits, a stubby bumper and winch, along with headlight and tail light upgrades...etc. So I say that just for referencing my abilities.

    Rough Country is junk.
    Good luck with your truck.

I’ve got the rough country on. I think the line up is intentionally tight because they don’t use adhesive at the top. I thought I could get away with 15 minutes per flare and that would be fine. Turned into about an hour per each. Brutal install. The rubber trim has an orientation that I may have fucked up on the first flare. They do look decent though. IMG_1785.jpgThat’s my truck on the right and some fool I don’t know the left. My front bumper is the greenlane off-road stump with wings, it sticks out to the side about half inch or so, rough country flare lines up pretty well with it. IMG_1788.jpgI now have an rci high clearance bumper. But it’s a subtle change. Like I did some pushups in the alley before I went in the club. Lol
Also have a decent amount of poke, sema wheel with spidertrax 1.25” spacers.

Stock with a camper shell for now.
I like how you blacked out the plates but on the front pic it has the license plates still.

Fender flares,
I kept the Rough Country fender flares. I had to elongate the top 2 fender flare predrilled holes in order to be able to mount them. I had to do that with all four fenders. As hard as I pushed, I could not get the holes lined up before elongating them. I even tried a "C" clamp to help push them in, but to no avail. The elongation only took a few minutes, and even then I had to push hard to get the bolts started. The rubber molding provided with the kit is TIGHT against the OEM fender. They look great, exactly as I had envisioned.
