Why the heck would you take your U-bolts off while rotating your tires?

Best guess would be this is an axle shim that's crooked. The axle shim could be one of those with the U-groove where the centering pin doesn't need to be removed.

Rear end was jacked up for the tire rotation. Rear leaf packs decompressed and that shim got crooked somehow.

OP: try jacking the rear end up and tapping that piece back into place.....and check the torque on your u-bolt nuts.

*** i went to the rough country site because i was curious. That crooked piece is the bottom/final leaf in their leaf pack. It's more like a 1/4" Lift block. Anyways, it's crooked and tightening the center pin is your solution.

I'm pretty sure I'll go with general springs when the time comes to replace my leafs. To me, less marketing = less cost. They are leaf springs, not shocks. Do I really need a "branded" leaf spring if the more generic fits the bill?

Thank you I tried the tapping back in place but the rear is pretty heavy with camper shell and decked system. Gonna remove.the u bolt.and try to realign it. Was hopping to be an easy fix
