Sorry, someone just asked me about it, that’s why. Before that only one comment back for general opinion of the drop bracket lifts one year ago.

Like Tacoaric said, the lift quality isn’t going to change by vehicle, Tacoma and FJ shares almost identical front suspension. Still no complains of Rough Country lift.

Lifted with "Rough Country" kit, Blistien here I come.
If I may, I have a rough country kit on my 2014 tacoma dbcb. It came with the truck when i bought it a month ago. It has spacer blocks on the rear and extension caps (or whatever they're called) on the front shocks. I realized this as I was changing a worn out Carrier Bearing (CB) after I had it. I have no bad words for this setup but I haven;t really taken it hard off road ...yet. I would add that the CB was worn causing concern at 120K. so I'm shooting the drive angles to find out if the CB needs to be dropped from the kit.
It would suspect that it would be a "good kit" for other than extreme off road. Seeing how this is my main ride, I'm not going to be climbing rocks bigger than my tires lol.
I may, and if I do, I will go with Blistiens 5100's but that's down the rode. just saying from someone who actually has them.
