You might be right, I see it on the picture and I think I know what happened now, the unit they sent was for a 6’ bed and I have the 5, the rail is way long and that’s why it overlaps, checking now..

First OEM one I ever purchased and it’s fantastic. Got it at dealership on Memorial Day and installed myself. Super fit, lays flat to the bed and 98% waterproof.
If you wait for the sales, it’s worth it imo.

So the first video doesn’t work in what I have, 2025 has a notch at the tail and the video doesn’t show it. The second it’s what I have but I contact them and they don’t know what product that one is. The size is the correct one, I was thinking of removing that top trim and see if it fits but it looks so bad when I saw a video on how to remove the trim on top of the bed, so now I can’t figure it out. I guess I’ll return it. The rail they sent me on the one I received it’s not even close to the one on the second video so for sure it’s not the right one.

I can see the notch clear as day on the 1st video at :49 sec.

do you think that the rail of the tonneau cover will have the notch in it as well? it wont.....

maybe take a pic if your fitment issue to share with us.

if they dont know what the product is then how do you know if you got the correct one shipped and that the rail is the correct length?

do not remove the top bedside plastic rail. it will not help you

I had a Bakflip MX4 on my 21 long bed. Loved it. The new truck has the OEM tonneau cover. Looks like Toyota is getting them from Bakflip. Same design. Stayed dry in heavy rain the other day.
