Anyone have these on a gen 2 and measured from center hub to fender? I have a 15 Pro with the Wescott lift and I’m at 25” from hub to fender. I’m sure this kit will ride and perform better, but I don’t want to loose height because I’m running 285s and afraid I’ll rub.

What's everyone running their adjustments on firmness . I recently adjusted my pre load in the front and I was able to adjust the front on 2 . Rides much better . My rear is still at 1

I have mine preloaded a little as well. I like 3 a lot but it give me brake dive and body roll. In town lately I’m running 5 and it’s good as well. Idk I prefer the higher setting

I do a lot of hwy driving so it's nice soft ride at 70 to 65mph. Offroading though I stiffen it up a bit

I just ordered the c/o’s, shocks and UCA’s to replace a full set of Fox shocks that ride horribly and didn’t provide enough lift. I hope this set does the trick.

Thanks for the tip. Tracking says I should have it all by the end of the day. I’ll whip out the install tomorrow!

Is anyone running 285s with the 3.5 kit? If so, any rubbing? I’m using stock wheels.

Sorry got 285s but bigger than 3.5 lift . Honestly I had their 3in spacer lift in the front and 2in in rear and never rubbed with my 285s but I'm also on 16in rims

Thanks. I’m using the stock 16x7 wheels, so should be okay then.

Yes they fit no problem at at. I’m actually running very high caster that rolls the tire back towards cab mount and no rub. 17”/8.5/0 offset

Nice! Can’t wait to get these installed. Anyone re-geared with 285s? Looking at 456 or 488s..

Yes on both accounts - I just installed the Vertex c/o’s and RC UCA’s today. The lift is great and initial impression is that it’ll be a good kit. I’m coming from a full set of Fox shocks that didn’t provide enough lift and rode poorly. Also, I have 16” TRD Pro wheels which would clear fine, but I added 1.25” spacers front and rear. This is likely contributing to the lack of clearance more than anything else.

I’ve not had it aligned yet and I’m hoping that may fix some clearance issues. Also, I need to adjust the ride height on the driver’s side to correct the lean. I had to order a spanner wrench, so I’ll adjust tomorrow. If this doesn’t fix the clearance problem, I’ll start minor trimming at the fender flare at the rear of the fender.

I did regear it as soon as I got my truck, because it was an absolute dog with 285’s and stock gearing. I’ve also had a KD tune installed and that’s mostly been nice for shift points and throttle actuation.

If I can answer anything else, just let me know.

You go with KDmax or OV tune? I’ve heard great things about KDmax. Made that much of a difference??
