did you ever get the drivers side coil adjusted? I got mine installed yesterday and I have a bit of a taco lean. I want to try and fix it soon before dirt and debris gets in there and jams it up

Just asking if anyone knows what the spring rates are on the coils and leaf packs for the Vertex setup.
I can't find anything stating if they are 600 lb, 700 lb or what.
Tried contacting Rough Country. Nothing but crickets.

After spending some time on the highway now I can say there's really not much difference except when I hit a pothole or bump or something on just one side. With a sway bar you can feel it transfer that energy to the other side and can sometimes kind of yank the wheel but without it the whole situation gets smoothed out to some degree as it feels like it stays mostly on just the side that hit.

Honestly no I didn't, and not for a lack of trying. I can't get the fucker to budge AT ALL. I've bent tools and even the little holes in the preload adjuster ring trying to move it. It was totally clean and sprayed with plenty of penetrating lube too. I don't know what the deal is. I might take it into 4 Wheel Parts where I bought the shocks and see if they can help. It's driving me nuts.

Did you get the spanner wrench for the big nut . Rc sells one . This will be your last option

I haven't bc everything I've seen says it's effectively useless with the shock mounted bc there's no room to actually turn it. But maybe there's a way, I don't know. I might order one just to at least try.

They are cheap I got one and it's been awhile since I've adjusted so I might have been able to get a little bit of a turn . At least to crack it loose. I recommend at least getting it and trying.

Appreciate the insight. In that case I'll give it a shot.

I just installed the fronts. I honestly don’t see how it’s possible to turn the RC wrench and adjust once installed. I think a punch and hammer would be easier.

I watched this a couple weeks ago when I was trying to adjust it and yeah he makes it look super easy. He's also going the other direction which may help. But honestly I think I just got lucky and have one that is stuck af.

You are not alone. I just snapped a steel punch in half trying. I’m just going to have to take them out to adjust

Man I'm sorry to hear that! But it does make feel a little better that I'm not the only one. Are you gonna compress your coil when you take it off or what?

I just installed them so I’ll letting everything settle. Once it’s settled, I’m having them taken out, compressed and both sides adjusted.
