I've put between 3k and 4k miles on mine on and offroad and they actually haven't settled at all. Still exactly the same height as when I installed them.

It wasnt too bad, I decided to pull the trigger when I saw there was a drop of them on 01/06. Set up and alarm, I was at my computer at 8:58 ready to go. Pick them right at 9pm when they became available. Its my 3rd set, first I went with SR8's and my last 2 sets have been Ray 10's.

how much up travel do you guys have in the rear? My rear end is level with the front but i have maybe 3 inches of up travel before I bottom out. I'm thinking about replacing the rear shocks with Fox's.

I had this posted in another rough country thread figure I would share here also.

Well I have some bad news fellas . After only 6 months of having the new vertex shocks my driver side rear shock must of lost a seal . I haven't really had a chance to push this new suspension. I don't count taking my family to the beach or going to elk camp pushing the limits of these new vertex's. Thank you little ole baby Jesus that I bought warranty on parts and labor through 4wp in Tacoma WA. These guys got me hooked up and a brand new shock on its way. I opted out of them installing it due to the fact I dd my truck and I'm fully capable of the install myself. Come on it's a rear shock. All I gotta say is I would be one pissed hombre if I had to buy one new shock not cheap.

I fully blame I-5 here in Washington for this failure.

do you want to go over bumps? lol.

Are your shocks set up properly for your 6" lift? I drive on i5/405/Olympic highway with no issues with my aftermarket shocks. 30k miles and no leaking.

That being said, does your significant other drive your truck? I thought I saw it driving behind me last summer on the way to Westport.

Depends how big those curbs are at the mall lol!

Im going to definitely relocate my cab mounts, beat pinch weld, should be good to go, steel bumper is going to help with clearance along with my body lift. :)

You really don't need to relocate the cab mount IMO. A good CMC is all you need since most of your clearance is going to come from adjusting your LCA and UCA (if you have adjustables). Getting skinny 35s will definitely help but I'm running 35x12.5x17 and they still rub after trimming the fenders and cut/flattening the pinch welds. They're rubbing up top in the inner fender now too....so much work, but definitely worth it!
A 1" bodylift should help a lot too at full stuff but that's a lot for me to adjust the bumpers to line up afterwards, but I guess we'll see.
