Is the lift height adjustable on these? If i only wanted 1.5", is that doable or is the height set at 3"? Website does not provide any info on this.

The coils are advertised as 3.5in. Straight out the box with zero adjustment I got 3in. So I do not think it’s possible.

Nice!! I have the 3” lifted struts that came with my RC lift, so these will retain the 3” of lift, good to know

Thanks for the follow up! I read on the Jeep forums these provide more downtravel, thus requiring extended brake lines. Did you find that on your truck?

I’m going to upgrade mine but they aren’t tight right now but could see off-roading being a potential issue

If it’s 4wd and you’ve lifted it 3”, your inner CV boots are rubbing and will prematurely tear. Lifting it more will make it worse.

No matter what lift anyone uses (with exception of bracket lifts or LT) on the 3rd gen, from spacers to high dollar adjustable coilovers, more than 2” of lift on the front is about max. Beyond that, the inner CV boots start to make contact and it’s just a matter of time before they fail.

Not really sure. I took all the precautions recommended from rough country, diff drop and sway bar relocation. From what I’ve been told anything over 3 if you add the diff drop it will correct the angle of the cv axel. But I’ll check periodically and update if anything actually does fail.

Mine were rubbing pretty bad, just did the boot slide mod. Was able to reuse the stock cv boot clamps too.

Just look at the inner CV boot fins, if they are NOT touching, your good. The diff drop on the 3rd gen is not worth 1 dollar, it does zero.

I did the same with different clamps, but most peeps don’t know what that is, so I don’t bring it up unless it’s a direct question.

Did you mark the new boot placement, so it’s easy to notice if they slide back ?

Yes, I added toytec 1” drop and it helps a minimal amount, I’m with ya it doesn’t do much. I see people mention the sway bar drop, is that really needed? Will it improve performance, I’m not running any relocation in the sway

The sway bar drop is about figment and binding. I could not get mine back on without the spacer.

Care to elaborate on this slide mod? Is it just sliding the diff side of the boot further up the shaft?

What size did you order the 3 or 3.5?
I currently have a 3/2 spacer lift and I’m looking to upgrade my front coils to these, but I’m trying to keep it the same height

Sorry for the later response but I ordered the 3.5 for the front. Out the box with no adjustment it gave me a 3in lift. I still have plenty of room to adjust to account for weight in the future or even to lift more if I wanted

Can you install these coilovers without a 4" or 6" kit from rough country? These appear to be good value for their performance, but I'm only looking for 2-3" of lift.
