How’s it going everyone. So the time is coming close for me to finally pull the trigger on lifting my truck the 3 inches I’ve been wanting and doing it the right way. I think I’ve finally narrowed down my options and would like to get some feed back from all of you who may have some experience with what I’m choosing between. My budget is right around $3000 keep that in mind and I guess I’m comparing apples and oranges here.

Rough country vertex 3.5” lift kit
    Vs
    Icon Stage 3 lift kit

I appreciate all that the RC kit comes with what really caught my eye though was the dampening control valves that their shocks come with. Beyond the YouTube reviews I know very little about the kit as a whole or how reliable everything is. There’s very little reviews or information out there about their UCAs or their leaf springs that’s I’ve been able to look up. But the kit does come in right around where my budge is and I like the dampening feature as per mentioned…

then we have the icon kit. More straight forward comes with what I’m looking for. It’s the reputable brand from what I’ve gathered. Doesn’t have the dampening feature till about the Stage 6 mark which is way out of budget for me. As is the stage 3 kit but I’m willing to pinch together a few extra bucks if it means getting a better set up in the long run. Especially with the UCAs having to do that twice would be a nightmare.

anyways let me know what your experience is and what you think the best route is. Thanks and have a good one!
