Rough country vs Bilstein 5100

    yep..
    I think the bilsteins at the top setting should ride pretty good. I had them at 1.75" and they rode nice, then I switched to OME 884s on the bottom setting and they're quite a bit stiffer than the previous setup.

    I purchased a Tacoma that has the rough country lift with blocks in the back. As we speak I am waiting on FedEx to ship me an axle because I'm taking all of that crap off. I'm going with 2017 coils and shocks up front and having the leafs replaced by Toyota. Save your money and go with a better lift.

    Put a good progressive add a leaf under those new pos toyota leaf packs asap to try and make them last.

    When I purchased the truck the passenger side boot was totally gone. I figured instead of rebooting it I would just purchase a new one. Once I pull it off I may rebuild it for a spare.

    I see. Good call. Rebuild it for sure, or sell cheap to someone who will.

    Led pod fog light inserts, kn cold air intake, Bilstein 5100 with 2 inch coil combo and progressive AAL. Touchscreen pioneer stereo and infinity components with 2 kicker comp r10's and jones turbine exhaust
    I have the RC lift on my truck now, as soon as my tax return comes back I'm getting coils, 5100, and a progressive AAL gone with the RC crap.

    I did.....

    1st...spacer lift=cheap, did the job, looked ok
    2nd...OME, more money, looked good, rode way better
    3rd..King 2.5's all the way around, AWESOME!!

    Buy once, cry once.....I wasted too much time/labor and $$. Just go the right way first time and be happy for the life you own the truck
