I've been having a rough idle issue for quite a while now! Ive done quite a bit to try to get rid of it, like Seafoaming, cleaning AMF, TB. But it hasn't really helped!

Tomarrow I plan on checking my plugs and wires. and changing my Fuel filter. Hope that helps! But was wondering if you guys have anything else I should check or do?

When you change your plugs, use the twin ground Denso's. Gap them to .040 both sides.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    Define rough idle.

    Fluctuation in RPM's during idle?

    or

    Feels like a miss?

    Only happens during idle?

    Any CEL?

and check the butterfly plate to see if it returns all the way or may be stuck.

thanks guys! Well my rpm's fluctuate and is rough only at stop light and such. The truck actually vibrates a little. it wasn't like this when I first bought the truck, it ran smooth. I can def. tell its not right.

    x 2

Even if they did I would still check them.

Sounds like you have a bad wire. You can check this by idling the truck at night with the hood propped open. Watch your wires, in the dark, and see if there is an arc jump. You may have to wiggle the wires around but just be aware of the moving components.

I'll check it out! But I think Im just ganna get a new set of wires, since mine are still factory. But first im ganna change plugs and fuel filter and see how that does. If still rough ill go ahead and get new wires. I hope this gets rid of it though!

No I havent checked it yet. That would be the last thing I check!:)
I know it could verry well be my IACV, but I would like to get the other things done first and then see what happens, before I go and pull the TB off and get into all that. ya know!
