    Good morning everyone!

Every time I go over bumps with a good bit of speed the front suspension handles it fantastically, but the rear bumps really hard. I thought maybe it was my old worn out shocks, but putting some new ones on there didn't quite help. I was wondering if its the leafs or the bump stops, or both. I do have the stock leaf pack with a no name 1.5-2.5in AAL. I also have an ARB rear bumper in the back. Whats yalls guess? Ill try to get some pics of what I have going on back there and post them.

Sounds like youre hitting the rear bumpstops. Def a jarring feeling. Need better bump stops and probs new leaf pack.

I just put 2.5 fox all around on my truck and my rear is stiff as well. I think it's because the rear suspension is made to tow, so it can't be soft while empty and still remain soft when loaded. It's gotta be stiff while empty and a lil softer when loaded.

What style AAL? single or multi? Single will give a stiff ride, over multi (3 leaf progressive)

Center console divider thingy, rubber bed mat and side steps for the wife.
Once owned a 1989 F350 CC Long bed 4x4 with a 460.. Now THAT was a stiff ride.

Do you have a fat friend? A fat girlfriend?

Have them ride in the back. Should tighten things up quite satisfactorily.

If you're riding empty, then just keep a few concrete blocks or bags of sand next to the tailgate.

Try adding more weight or upgrading your bump stops to superbumps or timbrens, they’ll improve the quality

The steel bumper in the back with a random AAL could be the problem. What shocks are you running? Progressive vs Digressive can make a big difference hitting things at speed.

Also, your "bump stops" are a piece of super hard rubber. If you bottom out its gonna be uncomfortable.

I have the icon 3 leaf AAL with KMAN shocks and the rear is like butter. I've hit some bumps both on road and off road that would rattle your fillings with stock suspension that I barely felt.

5100/885 w/ 1/4 lean spacer, Icon RXT w/ B110’s, 255/80/17 FWP, AP Apex Sliders, KDMax 87, ADD W1, BD mirror riser
Replacing the leaf spring pack with some OME Dakar mediums, Icon RXT’s in setup 2 or a similar other brand should keep you from bottoming out as easily.

My Icon RXT pack helped the ride out a ton because I was bottoming out all over the place before
