Just the 5100's. And over time if my front springs start to sag. I will move it to .85 and that will level me back out again.

Well, that shoots that idea down. I'd be unloaded most of the time...I don't need to deal with those issues, thanks for the review.

Good advice. I'm supposing that Deaver AAL is 3-leaf? & that you're running that in addition to the stock OR 2+1 leaf springs?

I never had 884's.....I used 2" top plate spacers with stock struts prior to the new lift, then 885's. Had 1" block in rear with the spacer.

When I did the 885's I also installed the AAL, removed 1" block, for a net increase of 1" lift in rear.

My stock rear leaf pack was 2+overloads. I used the single leaf AAL IN ADDITION to stock leaves, retaining the overload. I'm running empty 98% of the time, but occasionally tow a light travel trailer. Current setup seems to work really well. I have NOT done a long distance tow with the trailer YET, but see no real issues. It did OK with just the stock leaf pack. Ride in the rear is firmer without being too stiff or harsh. Excellent ride at highway speeds. Rides like a 4wd truck at lower speeds.....After owning 17 different 4wd trucks over the years, I'm happier with this setup than anything I've tried up to this point.

Do you have three leafs + overload (TSB) , or two leafs + overload?

Also, if i put in the 884's with the billy's at 0, will i have the taco lean issue that a lot of people are having? Right now i dont have any lean with the stock coils and 5100's set at 1.75

Stock coils are side specific and built with the lean correction into the driver side spring.

Aftermarket coils are evenly matched, so that's why they need a lean spacer.

Every Tacoma has it, so it's up to you if you want to correct it as much as you can or if you don't think you'll notice or care about the 1/2" difference (+/-). The spacers are super cheap, so it isn't something I'd worry too much about. That said, if you "might" want them, order them - it'll save you the hassle of reinstalling things later.

yeah its just a matter of knowing how much of a spacer you need, there cant really be a way to tell until after the new coils are put in, right?

It's generally 1/2" difference, which makes it a 1/4" spacer which is what every vendor sells.

The OME trim packer I mentioned before only works with OME shocks, so you'll have to use a different spacer product - but it's all the same. Marie can help you with that.

I bought a spacer for the 5100s from Wheeler's Offroad, when I bought some OME coils to use with them. I never installed it because I ended up just buying a whole new setup from Marie at HeadStrong - but it was something like $7 for the (nylon) spacer and shipping was ridiculous, like $12?

Something to keep in mind if you don't order things all at once, shipping on small items is really fucked up, at least from Wheeler's.

That's what I have now - it only works on OME shocks.

The one I bought from them for my 5100s was this one..

The spacer I posted is the correct one for 5100s.

The one you posted will not work with 5100s.
