More mods to come, thinking a 6 inch lift and arb bumper etc etc.
interesting im not comfortable with popping my headlights apart as i use this truck for work out in ontario currently.... however after reading the build i could do this. however i really want to know more. about YOUR headlights and HOW you did yours. did you take the light shroud out etc? im so confused as to which ones yours are. i want the exact same light out my headlights as yours....

I think I understand how everything goes together but i cannot figure out where the three pronged plug and the extra two wire adapter go?

Blue two wire adapter is a test lead for a 12v power source so you can align your lights....the other one I have no idea...not that far yet

If anyone in here missed round 10, I am selling my brand new in box Stage III FX-R kit I bought in round 9. It has 5000k 55w bulbs and ballasts and includes resealing butyl for your lights. Gatling Gun shrouds. I also purchased a set of OEM headlight bows (BOWLS ONLY!) so that if you want to use your OEM lights but want to take your time doing the install and dont want to remove your lights until its all finished, then this is perfect. Also dont have to worry if you mess them up the first time around. Great to practice on since its way cheaper than a full set of lights.

Retail price is $330 + tax&shipping from TRS.
Group buy pricing brings that down to around $250. I paid $285 including tax&shipping. I also paid $40 for the new oem bowls, bringing my total cost to $325. Id like to sell it for what I paid since it has not even been taken out of the packaging yet and is about 1 month old. If interested or want pictures, PM me. I may not check back in here so PM is best.

Willing to ship. Local buyers preferred. Also willing to separate bowls and projectors kit.

NOT willing to separate any of the complete TRS kit!!

Will be posting official FS thread soon, but thought Id give you all a chance first.

EDIT: Anyone who wants projectors but doesnt want to pay too much to ship their lights out to have them installed by another member, or who is afraid of doing this install yourself, I can install the projectors into the OEM bowls for you, already pre-alligned and sealed perfectly, then once you receive them, all you have to do is open your lights (oem or aftermarket) and pop in the pre-built retros. Then seal up the lights and your good to go. I will add painting if desired as well. This can all be done at a slight additional charge (not sure exactly yet, but not too much). I will not do the work until. payment has been received in full however. Contact me for further information!

As mentioned above, the one wire is a test lead so you can run the ballasts to a 12V power source during assembly without having to hook everything else up.

The other piece, the three pronged plug, plugs into the headlight power socket and will provide switch power to TRS's relay circuit (the headlight circuit will not be powering the ballasts, only telling the relay to fire the ballast and to control the high/low beam solenoid).

Haha! Let me re-phrase that. I broke my dtrl/turn signal lens during disassembly, and was wondering if anyone that is also doing their retro have a spare because they aren't using their own. PM if ya do.

I am having the hardest time separating the lenses from the headlight housings. I already ruined a set trying to pry the damn things apart. Even with the lights in the oven at 300 degrees for 10 minutes, the damn things wont come apart. Anybody else having issues with this?
